Learning Support
Helping Girls Achieve Their Goals
The dedicated staff in the Learning Center at Foxcroft meet each student where she is ... and help her get where she wants to be.
Learning Center faculty can help you discover your individual learning style and nurture your strengths. The center is staffed by an experienced, full-time director who can help you with time management, organizational skills, and study strategies based on learning styles and diagnosed learning differences.
With custom plans developed for each girl, the Learning Center can provide:
Individual conferencing to review academic progress
Executive functioning support (planning, organizing, and prioritizing)
Study skills
Scheduling and time management
Content tutoring
Accessing Learning Center Resources
Success at Foxcroft can start with Learning Center enrollment on day one. The process of enrolling at the Learning Center starts during a family’s admission process. By sharing current educational testing and/or IEP and 504 plans, our dedicated faculty and staff can gain an understanding of an individual student’s needs. (Note that a student does not need an IEP or 504 plan to access Learning Center resources.)
If a student demonstrates a need for learning support at another time during their enrollment at Foxcroft, the Academic Office and families would discuss the best option for additional support.
When I became a Foxcroft girl, I gained a lot of real-world skills and experience. I had a great opportunity to improve my time management skills and got the best support and help from the Learning Center. — Stephanie R., Class of 2024
